Chicken Chow Mein

Serves 2 and the ultimate Chinese catering cuisine. This classic can be made without chicken to suit vegetarian. But with the egg noodles this is not suitable for vegans.

Preparations Time: 10mins

Cooking Time: 20mins

Ingredients:

250g egg noodles, 1 chicken breast, 2 spring onions, 100g bean sprouts, salt, pepper, table spoon of soy sauce. Clove of garlic.

Method:

Boil noodles till soft then drain then rinse in cold water.

slice chicken into strips and fry season with salt and pepper when cooked remove from wok.

Chop garlic then add to wok then add the bean sprouts fry for about 3 mins, then add the noodles and stir them in so you’ve got a good mix.

Chop the onions about an inch long and add to the wok, stir, now you put the chicken back in stir and mix it all season with salt and pepper and add the soy sauce mix in and continue to fry for a further 5 mins and serve.
