The ultimate dinner party starter or main. This will serve 4 but can be a nice intimate main with two chops each!
Preparation Time: 20mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
4 x Lamb Chops
1 x Table spoon of oil
15g of Butter
150ml of White wine
150ml of Vegetable stock
2 x Bay Leaves
1 x Pared rind of a lemon
Method
- Remove any bone from the lamb chops
- Shape the lamb into round pieces and hold into place with string
- Fry the lamb with butter and oil and cook for 3 mins either side
- Remove from the frying pan and drain any excess oils or fats
- Return to the frying pan to heat
- Add white wine, vegetable stock
- Add bay leaves and lemon rind
- Cook for a further 20 mins until lamb is tender
- Add a little salt and pepper
