Perfect chips

If you’ve ever catered for more than 6 people who want fish and chips, well this is how to make the perfect chips. Quick and easy and they will never disappoint.

Feeds 4.

Cooking time 25 mins.

1 kg bag of potatoes, 1 pint of vegetable oil, salt, vinegar.

Method:

Peel the potatoes, and slice into the shape of chips.
Put the chips in to a pan and cover with water, this is the secret to the perfect chip crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside.
Cook until the water starts to boil leave for another minute then drain and rinse with cold water.
Now put the oil in a pan and and heat take one chip and put in the oil when this chip floats the oil is hot enough, now add the rest of the chip and cook till they are brown.
lay a piece of kitchen roll on a plate and put your chips on top this will get rid of any excess grease. Shake over salt and vinegar and plate to serve, my most perfect chip.
